We all go online and pick out “The Outfit.” The one we can’t afford but wish we could. I’m at that point right now! The Disney App has some great looks that you can buy and of course as always it’s going to cost a pretty penny. But that can’t stop us from dreaming and maybe making it ourselves right? So here’s my perfect outfit.
So there’s my perfect outfit complete with accessories:)
My family has stayed at several Disney Hotels over the last couple years. You might be surprised at some of the rankings.
1. Animal Kingdom Lodge-The Beds were amazingly comfy. We had a great nights sleep!
Highly Recommend Safari View if you are planning to spend a good number of hours at the hotel.
2.Pop century is actually my next favorite!! Surprising because it’s a Value Level resort! They just updated a bunch of their rooms and we had the opportunity to try one out! The concept is fabulous. One of the main beds goes up into the wall and creates a table and more space to walk around during the day. Once it’s time for bedtime, pull the bed down and it’s just as sturdy as the other permanent bed! We got a great nights sleep and the comfort level was as good as a moderate level!
3. Coronado -one of my favorites. Large, spacious and clean. Well designed. Relaxing theme. Although it’s not very Disney like because this resort is more used for businesses.
4. Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms-Small but well themed. Defiantly a lot of Disney Magic. Beds not as comfy as Pop Century or moderate resorts. Amazing Lobby!
5. All-Star Music – small. Ok for a couple. Not my favorite but definitely a budget friendly option.
Now I will tell you what we thought of the hotels that we visited but didn’t stay at.
Don’t bash me on this but we hated the contemporary. The whole lobby in the middle made it look like the rooms would be not so sound proof. If you have stayed here please let us know what you thought!
The Polynesian is beautiful but the lobby is sooooo busy, I’m not sure if we would choose to stay here on a relaxing trip. But awesome place to explore and eat!
But our ultimate place we love is Boulder Ridge. We hope to visit there soon! It is so quiet hardly anyone goes through there. So serene and beautiful! Plus the aroma that Disney pumps into the air reminds us of Christmas 💜 if I could own DVC there, that would be the ultimate dream.
So let us know where you like to stay! Let us know if you liked a resort that we didn’t care for! There is so much variety with Disney that there’s something for everyone!
The first trip that we took our 8 month old daughter to Disney World was amazing. She had such a great time and was really into meeting Mickey, Minnie, & Goofy.
The only problem was, I was holding in my hand the diaper that should have been on her bottom.
That’s right, she was diaper less (had a diaper cover on) and we were at the mercy of her bladder. Thankfully she didn’t have any accidents for the whole 20 minutes we waited in line and the 5-7 min of picture taking and greeting her favorite characters. But why wasn’t she wearing a diaper?
We had taken my husband’s parents with us and when we went to get in line we forgot the diaper bag back at the stroller. The baby of course had pee peed and was crying incessantly. The only way to save the situation was to take off her diaper and make her happy again. There was really no way around it. So we prayed she didn’t have to go anymore.
The picture we have clearly shows me holding a neatly folded used diaper in my hand. So much for the magic! Thankfully she was happy and giggly for Mickey and ever since then she’s loved her “Mocky Mouw.”
